The fascists in Sweden and Germany do not represent us and the people of Iran!
The forthcoming uprising in Iran with its banner of “Freedom and Equality” is more than what the reactionary fascists in Iran, Sweden and Germany can chew!
Last week, we all witnessed an all-rounded attack of range of right wing parties in Sweden and Germany on the freedom seeking demands of the people of Iran. The right-wing politicians who have continuously been calling for closure of asylum centres, expulsion of “non-Europeans”, and the banning of entry to the very people who manged to flee from the horrors of war and repression from such countries as Iran, have suddenly become “supporters of women and the progressive mass movement”! Moreover, they have tried to portray the repressive regimes as “left wing and socialist”!
As part of the broad revolutionary movement seeking freedom and equality of women with men in Iran, we stand against these fascists and do not let them take advantage of the current situation to advance their anti-socialist and racist policies.
The racists and their parties are well known for their anti-refugee policies. They are well known for their policies in deepening divisions, branding people as “European” and “foreigners” to further reduce the rights and pay and working conditions. These are the same racist politicians and activists who have always stood against any equality of human beings, and have been at the forefront of opposers to rights of women, rights of working people, right to oppose destruction of ecology, …
As part of their racist agenda, such parties as “Sweden Democrats SD” in Sweden, “A F D” in Germany are today using their Iranian-borne members, namely Jorgen Brown or Poria Zarei, as “representatives” of people in Iran! This kind of propaganda is too superficial and opaque to cover the anti-human stance of the racist parties.
The protests in Iran, the mass demand for women’s rights, for equality and freedom and ridding the society from the Islamic Republic and its repression, as whole is testament to the irrelevance of the fascists and their parties.
As the support for the protests in Iran is growing worldwide, we stand alongside the progressive masses in Sweden and Germany in isolating and pushing aside the fascists and racists who have nothing in common with the civilised humanity across Europe and the globe.
