This morning Israel and US bombs fell on Tehran and several cities across Iran.
This is not an attack to “aid people” of Iran, but a clear attempt to push back the progressive and revolutionary movement of freedom-seeking people in Iran. It is all too evident that this is a war pursued by Netanyahu and the Israeli state to break out of the deadlock and isolation they have been facing from the global civilized humanity. This war is part and parcel of Israel’s “New Middle East” plan and that of its supporters, most prominently the United States.
Today, the people in Iran and their 47 years of struggle against the Islamic Republic are under attack. This war is a raid on this mass movement, an attempt to hijack the ongoing struggle against the Islamic regime in Iran, solely to justify the “pre-emptive” attack that began this morning.
Alongside the people in Iran, we call on all workers’ trade unions and organisations, and all progressive and freedom-seeking people, to stand against this war and demand an immediate cessation of military actions. This is not our war.
