Solidarity from Linksjugend ['solid] Rheinland-Pfalz with the struggle of the workers in Iran:
2. We support the demands for the immediate release of all political prisoners, the nationalization of enterprises under workers' control, the resignation of the government and all other demands of the strikers. 3. We will support our Iranian comrades with solidarity actions if necessary. 4. In order to raise awareness of the struggle of our Iranian comrades, we endorse and support all grassroots groups willing to organize information events. The regional association will provide financial support and competent speakers. 5. In view of Germany's considerable economic involvement with Iran, we see the German workers' movement as having a special responsibility which they are not currently fulfilling. As a regional association, we want to address this responsibility within our means - comrades who are being tortured in the prisons of the regime and in their work places deserve and need all forms of support. 6. We strongly condemn any request for military intervention or economic sanctions. These strengthen the regime because, above all, they hit the working class of the country and confront the population with an external enemy. The measures of imperialist states will not contribute to the liberation of the working class in any country! 7. (We support criminal prosecutions against members and supporters of the regime). 8. We do not want a monarchist restoration in Iran. Any attempt by some exiled politicians or western states to bring about or promote such a restoration will be combated. 9. We perceive the German government, much like any other member of the EU to be ally of the regime in Tehran. The ruling classes of this world may often fight amongst each other, but they will always form a common front against the workers' attempts of self-liberation. The only real allies of the workers from any country are the workers of all other countries. We consider ourselves as one with the global proletariat's struggle for self-liberation, whether in Tehran, Paris or Berlin.
