Press Release Of the campaign of Stop! Islamic Regime's Terrorism and Interpol's Collaboration Collaboration of the Interpol and the Islamic Republic of Iran against the political opposition movement has been defeated
The Interpol has removed the names of twelve political figures of the Iranian regime’s opposition movement outside Iran from his list and internal files. After four years of continuous and consistent protest actions against the collaboration of the Interpol and the Islamic Republic of Iran against the well-known political figures of the opposition movement outside Iran, the Interpol has removed the names of the twelve political figures and made the list inaccessible to governments, police force and the security institutions. The twelve political opposition figures are: Asad Golchini, Tofigh pirkherzi, khaled haj Mohammadi, Rasoul Bnavand, Rahman Hosseinzadeh, Rahmat Fatehi, Salam ZiJi, Saleh Sardari, Abdolah Darabi, Ali Abdaly, Koorosh Modaressi and Mozaffar Mohammadi. In an official letter to the solicitor of the twelve political figures, the Commission has expressed serious doubts on the validity of the information given to the Interpol and has consequently decided to remove all the mentioned names from its list. By placing the names of well-known and reputed political figures of the opposition movement in the list of wanted terrorists and organised crime bands, The Islamic republic of Iran, with the aid of the Interpol, tried to stir up concerns of security and policing among the opposition movement. There is no doubt that the withdrawal of the names is their failure, and a definite victory for the entire political opposition movement of the Islamic regime. Certainly such a victory would not have been possible without the efforts and contributions of the thousands of political activists, freedom seeking people, parties, organisations and institutions who supported the “Stop Interpol” campaign. We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to all the people who supported this campaign and congratulate them on their victory.
